OQ2D practices spatial design from the standpoint that architectural design is a field of knowledge and practice that is enriched through imports and exports from other fields.

 OQ2D members come from various backgrounds, with various interests, melding knowledge and expertise from architecture, structural engineering, arts, as well as social and environmental sciences. 

We are interested in expanding the definitions of architecture and spatial design through a cross-disciplinary approach and team, with the firm belief that innovation comes from collaboration across fields and frames of reference. OQ2D’s members combine professional activities with research, academic, and editorial ones.
